Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Parse (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. In these Terms, "Parse", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the operator of the Service, whose legal details are set out in Section 13 (Contact) below.
1. The Service
Parse is an AI-assisted communication tool that analyzes text, screenshots, or documents you submit and generates suggested response strategies. Parse is a decision-support tool — it is not a substitute for legal, medical, psychological, HR, or other professional advice.
2. Eligibility & Account
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction (or have your parent/guardian's consent) to use the Service. You may use Parse anonymously via a device-scoped "shadow account", or claim a full account by verifying your email. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or abusive purpose;
- Submit content you do not have the right to submit, or that infringes any third party's rights;
- Attempt to generate illegal content, non-consensual imagery, deepfakes, hate speech, threats, malware, or content that sexualizes minors;
- Attempt to jailbreak, prompt-inject, reverse engineer, or circumvent safety controls;
- Probe, scan, or interfere with the Service's security, or scrape or crawl the Service without written permission;
- Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.
4. AI-Generated Content
Parse uses third-party large language models to analyze your inputs and generate suggested responses ("Outputs"). Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or otherwise unsuitable. You are solely responsible for the prompts you submit, for confirming you have the right to submit them, for reviewing Outputs before use, and for any consequences of acting on an Output. Outputs are not legal, financial, medical, psychological, HR, or other professional advice.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. As between you and us, you retain ownership of your Inputs. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit your Inputs solely to provide and improve the Service.
6. Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for details.
7. Service Availability
We work hard to keep the Service reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time.
8. Warranties & Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Inputs, your use of Outputs, or your breach of these Terms.
10. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time.
11. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Parse is established, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
13. Contact & Legal Entity
Parse is operated by Jean Roger Nigoumi Guiala (sole trader), the party with whom you are contracting under these Terms. For questions about these Terms, use our contact form. For order-related questions (payment, invoice, refund), use Paddle's buyer portal at paddle.net.
Send us a note via the contact form — we read and reply to every message.
